1999 North American Vize
Sieger
The
following is taken from Jim's Breed Survey Report when he
received his Koering in Germany at 20 months of age.
"Good medium-large, typey substantial male, with
high wither, firm back and normal croup. Very good
angulation of fore- and hindquarter. Prominent chest
proportions, straight front, gaits straight in front and
slightly close in hocks. Long, far-reaching gait
originating from prominent hindquarter angulation. Stable
temperament. Drive schutzhund-work and disposition
pronounces. Hips normal. Pigment, a brown and black male
with much expression. Recommended for improving
type." At the 1998 Canadian National Specialty Show, Jim gaited his way to the top of a tough Open Class, to Winners Dog, and on to Select 5 under the highly respected specialty judge Blois Boyd
At the 1999 German Shepherd Dog Club of American, Working Dog Association, North American Sieger Show, under the highly respected Judge Gunther Bauer, Jim gaited his way to VA-2 Vize-Sieger in a very strong Working Dog Class entry of 24 males. He defeated several of Europe's highly rated males.
Jim is also a US champion. Dr. Morton Goldfarb awarded Jim Best of Breed at the GSDC of Charlotte specialty. Dr. Goldfarb is a well-respected judge internationally, judging both AKC and SV sanctioned shows. He is the only fully licensed SV conformation judge in the US at this time. We consider his critique authoritative.
We are having an enormous amount of fun campaigning Jim. Whether he wins or loses, he is usually the most popular dog outside the ring because of his gorgeous conformation and personality.
Jim is proving his worth as a producer.
